PHStat2 is a statistics add-in for Microsoft Excel. It makes using Excel easier for statistical operations. All statistical methods taught in an introductory statistics course can be done in Excel using the add-in along with the Data Analysis Tool Pack (that comes with Excel.)

PHStat2 is a useful tool for students who need basic statistical analysis in Excel, but it feels limited compared to modern statistics software. The interface is not very intuitive, and beginners may need time to understand how to use its features properly. It also lacks the advanced tools and flexibility available in programs like R, SPSS, or newer data analysis platforms. For simple statistical calculations it works fine, but users working with larger or more complex datasets may find it outdated.
